冬季閉鎖の前に秋の景色が楽しめることがありますが、正確な時期と道路の通行は標高と天候によります。
観光情報の出典 ↗滋賀県と岐阜県の境にある標高1,377メートルの山で、山頂の広い草原、高山植物、琵琶湖の眺めで知られています。2026年時点で、米原側の登山道は大規模な斜面崩落のため立ち入り禁止です。季節営業のドライブウェイの山頂エリアなど、公式に開放されているルートのみをご利用ください。
