Izu City / Kawazu boundary, Amagi Pass. A historic stone road tunnel associated with the old Amagi route and The Izu Dancer. Mountain approaches require checking road and trail conditions before travel.
Walk beside the Kawazu River in eastern Izu, best known for its early-flowering pink Kawazu-zakura. Outside the blossom period this is a riverside town walk, not a year-round cherry blossom display.
Izu City (伊豆市), Amagi. A waterfall dropping from a basalt cliff into a wooded gorge. The approach includes steps; nearby wasabi cultivation reflects the clear mountain water.
A seaside ryokan at Hokkawa Onsen on Izu’s east coast, known for expansive Pacific views, hot-spring bathing and a quiet overnight stay above the water. It works as an accommodation base rather than a brief sightseeing stop.

Izu City (伊豆市), Toi coast. A cape reached by a walking path and wooden deck, with views over Suruga Bay and toward Mount Fuji when weather allows. Allow time for the return walk.
A 580-metre extinct volcano above Ito and Izu Kogen. A chairlift reaches the rim, where an easy loop circles the bowl-shaped crater with views toward Mount Fuji, Izu Oshima and the Pacific. Walking up the protected grass slope is not permitted.
